The Tau Chapter of Alpha Omega at the University of Southern California is something like you’ve never seen before. While we are a dental fraternity founded on Jewish morals and values, we have a diverse group of members that come from all different faiths, races, genders, and ethnic backgrounds. This past year, we initiated more incoming members than any past year and our chapter continues to grow. We hold each member dear to our heart and believe that they contribute something special to our organization.

Alpha Omega is the only professional dental fraternity at USC dental school and we help our students to reach their goals of becoming not only great doctors, but well-rounded individuals as well. We hold academic help sessions before exams, have lab practice sessions with our well-known and skilled faculty, and provide our students with helpful study resources so they feel prepared before each exam.

Furthermore, we hold social events such as Shabbat dinners where dental professionals come to speak, sushi nights, lunch and learns where students can learn about dental current events, and much more. We are also involved in the community at large and engage in philanthropy endeavors, such as hosting a bone marrow drive with Be the Match and participation in the annual Walk of Ages 5k.

Our Tau chapter is special because not only are we a group of dental professionals striving for excellence every day, but we are a tight knit family and we hold the Trojan bond deep in our hearts. We, the Tau Chapter at USC, embody professionalism, kind-heartedness, and excellence and are proud to call ourselves Alpha Omegans!
